Using the power of compounding – we have established 19 magic steps to reaching our goal of celebrating one million people celebrating women and celebrating change. Step 5 was celebrated on March 1, 2007 – That day we celebrated 64 people at a Carrabba’s restaurant.
Today, May 7, 2007 we celebrated that our membership doubled again. For each step we throw a celebration “party†that allows us to take time out of our busy schedule to focus on all the great strides and changes that we are making in lives and in the world.
Ahhh – Deep breath – Lots of planning for today’s event – but how wonderful to celebrate Step 6 of our goal on the way to one million people celebrating. This goal was represented by 128 awesome women and men (and a few children) who gathered at the beautiful Casa Marina Hotel, Jacksonville, Florida. The setting was Oceanside and the atmosphere was full of energy and enthusiasm for all the members in attendance. YES, members know that when we celebrate life’s journey together – and celebrate the little things in life – every little thing – including the fact that  your child brushed her teeth before bedtime without being told AND that you were finally able to take 5 minutes alone – every day for the past week – is when our world will change to be a more supportive and joyful place to be for all.
With so many fabulous people in attendance – as well as three professional speakers, motivational humorist, Jewell Kutzer, Norma Jean May from the Jacksonville Jam, and professional basketball player and coach, Grayson Marshall, I can only humbly say THANK YOU – for those who are not waiting any more to make a difference – but THANK YOU to those who are using “Celebration Therapy†– a term coined by one of our members, Terri Hattaway, to create a world that is non-judgmental and a world that has safe streets and schools.
GREAT SPONSORS - I would like to thank a few of them - Coastal Cosmetic Center, Go Natural and The Anit-Aging Clinic.
Step 7 will be 256 members – celebrating sometime this summer. Can’t wait!

To all our members:
Yesterdays milestone event toward our goal of celebrating 1 million was a tremendous success due to each and everyone who attended. The openning message delivered by Norma Jean May set the tone and energy to a level that I have never experienced. Both Grayson Marshall and Jewell Kutzer brought the true meaning and the professionalism of the organization to even greater heights. We are very blessed to have such an incrediable group of individuals that understand the power of celebration
and the positive impact that each us can have on the world by helping others.
I know that together we can make a difference.

Yesterday was one of those memorable events where time pauses and the senses are overwhelmed with the wonder of it all! What a celebration of joy, love, passion, energy, inspiration, and accountability! Words are inadequate to describe the plethoria of emotions experienced by each celebrant attending. I have so much respect, awe and love for Grayson and Jewell and their ability to inspire and give encouragement to raise one’s life to higher and higher planes. Sheryl Lynn and Mike you must be very, very proud and honored by what you have created. You two are truly AWESOME and you have surrounded yourselves with an indescribably competent and wonderful group of facilitators. The members of Women Celebrations are truly ambassadors of positive support and non-judgmental love who are committed to making our world a safer, more peaceful place. All I can say is, “Amen Mama, let’s roll to higher and higher ground with more, and more members with a dream so huge we can hardly wait to make it come true!”

Good morning! It is my pleasure to be of assistance and I thank you very much for the opportunity to be a part of Women Celebrations!
What I received from Women Celebrations Personally:
I received confirmation that what my core beliefs are about being able to make a difference in the world, extending love and kindness to others, that is what Women Celebrations believes as well. I also realized that we will need to use care and caution each step of the way to ensure that we who are members do not deter from the main purpose, of which this is my understanding….to make a difference in the world for Good and for what is Right. There truly is strength in numbers. There’s strength in numbers no matter what the belief, good and bad…..we must always remember our core mission otherwise we can get sidetracked and become something totally foreign from what it was founded as. Perhaps the goals of Oprah and 1 million are just precious steps along the way. The real prize is making the world not just better, but Good for this generation and those to come. This is our time. We are not in this generation by accident. This is our time on purpose and we have to live in it and take responsibility for it on purpose. My first favorite Book is the Bible. The foundation of what I believe is based on the written Word. My second favorite writing is the Declaration of Independence. What a beautiful document. I refer to it so many times. I love the United States of America and my hope is that she will be what she was founded to be. I believe that WC can play a wonderful role in making my hope a reality.
Professionally? I made a business contact!
Thank you, Sheryl, for everything you are doing to make a difference.
Kindest Regards,

It is always encouraging to be a part of new vision, direction and change. Women’s Celebration is a perfect vehicle to empower and equip people to grow beyond their current limitations in life. This mission can only be accomplished through synergy. Where there is a vision God makes the provision. Yesterday was a great start to accomplishing the purpose for this radiant group and all things are possible. Keep up the good work.

What an honor it was on Monday to be amongst the most amazing and talented women (and men) in the world. I am so lucky to be a part of Women Celebrations! WC has given me the foundation to practice celebration and positive thinking on a daily basis. And taught me how to teach my children how to celebrate themselves, which is a HUGE achievement! Monday’s event was so special and Sheryl Lynn was more RADIANT than I’ve ever seen. It must be that she saw her vision of “Empowering Women” really in the WORKS! I am and will continue to be one of your loyal and proud ambassadors.

What a nice way to start the week! It reflected a lot of planning and hard work and thanks to those who are responsible.
This was my first WC event–thank you, Florence–and I plan to attend my area LOOP very soon.
Celebrating oneself is not about ego, it’s all about building self-esteem and that can only come from within; making it within our control. Sometimes we need to rehearsal doing that and WC certainly provides that opportunity!
